In John Koprowski's Conservation Research Laboratory, we endeavor to develop effective and progressive approaches to societal challenges to maintain biodiversity and conserve our natural resources. We strive to collaborate with other research groups, land management agencies, non-government organizations and the general public to focus efforts on solutions to conservation challenges in rare, degraded or threatened ecosystems, as well as their resident species, on local, national, and international landscapes. We are dedicated to the pursuit of knowledge that increases our understanding of the natural world and promotes science-based, informed decision making. We are committed to providing training, mentoring, and educational opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students and disseminating information to professional and lay audiences. We aspire to have impact through our efforts in research, education, and outreach
